The Challenge: Charity Work Run on Tools Not Built for It

Charities and foundations run a cycle of their own: donors, monthly bank deductions and receipt vouchers; projects and sponsorships that must be tracked and documented; beneficiaries whose requests are researched in the field before any payment. A general accounting system with a donations module bolted on does not reflect that reality, so the data ends up scattered across separate tools.

Our Solution: One System Built for Charity Work from the Ground Up

DevHouse built MAS from scratch around how charities actually operate. It brings eight connected sub-systems together, with data flowing between them automatically from the moment a donation arrives to the report that documents its impact:

• Donor affairs: a complete file for every donor, complaints and requests with full follow-up, and merging of duplicate records.
• Donations and receipt vouchers: electronic vouchers with an approval path, gold and in-kind donations, and import of donations from the website and payment channels.
• Bank deductions: templates for importing bank movements, bulk status changes, and collection-rate tracking.
• Projects and sponsorships: project studies and execution tracking, photo-documented reports, and orphan sponsorship files across their whole lifecycle.
• Humanitarian aid: beneficiary files, aid requests, field research and payment orders.
• Finance and accounting: journal entries tied to system operations, multiple branches, and resources tracked by month and year.
• Queries and reports: precise query conditions, multi-level grouping, export to several formats, and query presets and report layouts users save themselves.
• Dashboard: interactive indicators for new donors, total resources, and projects and sponsorships by status.

A Platform Designed for Trust and Control

MAS runs approvals automatically across multiple levels based on permissions and amounts, with fine-grained permissions per user or user group and a usage log that records every operation. It reaches donors through WhatsApp, SMS and email message templates, all in a fully right-to-left Arabic interface.
