DevHouse Expands Operations to New European Tech Hub
Ahmed Al-Rashidi
DevHouse International is pleased to announce the opening of its European Technology Hub. This strategic expansion marks a significant milestone in our mission to bring enterprise-grade software consultancy closer to clients across the continent — and to deepen the talent pipeline that powers our most ambitious engagements.
Why Europe, and Why Now
The European technology market is experiencing a period of remarkable transformation. Regulatory frameworks such as the EU AI Act and NIS2 are reshaping how enterprises approach software architecture, data governance, and cybersecurity posture. At the same time, demand for experienced consultancy capable of navigating these requirements while delivering commercially competitive solutions has significantly outpaced supply. DevHouse has served European clients remotely for several years, consistently delivering the same standard of work that has defined our reputation in the Gulf and MENA regions. Opening a physical hub brings that relationship to a new level of proximity and responsiveness.
The hub will initially focus on three practice areas where we observe the highest concentration of demand: cloud migration and modernisation, where legacy-heavy financial and manufacturing clients are under competitive pressure to accelerate; AI and data engineering, where interest is high but the gap between aspiration and production-ready implementation remains large; and regulatory compliance engineering, where our experience building compliant systems for regulated industries in the Gulf translates directly to the European context.
"Opening this hub is an investment in relationships, not just geography. Our clients told us they wanted DevHouse engineers in the room when critical architectural decisions are made — and we listened."
Talent and Community Investment
Beyond client delivery, the European hub represents a deliberate investment in the regional technology talent community. We will be establishing a graduate associate programme in partnership with local universities, offering structured rotations across disciplines — backend engineering, cloud infrastructure, data science, and UX — that prepare early-career engineers for the realities of consulting at the enterprise level. We believe that building talent pipelines locally is as strategically important as winning new clients, because the quality of our people is ultimately the quality of our work.
Existing DevHouse clients will benefit from the expanded capacity immediately. Engagements that previously required significant travel overhead for on-site workshops and design sprints will now be serviced with materially shorter lead times. New clients in Europe will find an engagement model that combines the global delivery capability of a firm operating across multiple time zones with the on-the-ground availability of a local partner. We look forward to building lasting relationships in this dynamic and strategically important market.
- Practice focus areas: Cloud modernisation, AI/data engineering, and regulatory compliance.
- Graduate programme: Structured rotations launching in the first quarter of operations.
- Client benefit: Reduced lead times for on-site workshops and architecture sprints.
